Linda Vincenta Byrne Owner/ Director/ Principal Teacher
Linda is the owner and Director of LVB Dance . She has created and choreographed shows for theatre, large scale festivals and corporate events. Her most recent show Twisted Takeover is a glitzy dance and aerial arts show commissioned by Electro Love and is taking the festival season by storm!
She is a sought after Dance Teacher and has delivered workshops both in the UK and internationally. She is currently based in Bangkok where she is developing an after school dance curriculum for children who attend Ivy Bound International School.
Her background as a competitive /professional dancer spanned over 25 years where she competed continuously in international competitions and worked on contracts for TV, Music Festivals, Music Videos, Tours, Clubs and Award Ceremonies both in the UK and abroad. Her training at top establishments such as Pineapple Dance Studios, London Contemporary Dance School and Roehampton University enabled her to have a long career in the commercial dance industry. Before that she trained daily as an Irish dancer from the age of 3 with renowned teacher Mrs O Shea (O' Shea School of Dance, Dublin). Her passion and drive was evident even from this young age and lead her to qualifying and being placed in the top 3 every year at the World Irish Dancing Championships from the age of 5. By the time she was 13, she had become several times British Champion and was ranked 3rd in the World.
Principle Dance Teacher (UK)
Siobhan is LVB's Principal Dance Teacher for their UDO Accredited Street Dance Academy where she teaches children aged 3-16yrs old of all ranges of ability. She is the Street Dance Choreographer and Contemporary Dance Teacher and Co-Choreographer for LVB Dance Theatre and is also regularly requested to teach hip hop and dance theatre in schools as part of the national curriculum and as after schools clubs. Her lovely, bubbly and positive attitude makes her an absolute JOY to work with!
Siobhan’s dance training started with the Isle of Wight youth Dance Company Accelerate which was a Contemporary dance based company who toured nationally. She also performed, choreographed and was a team leader in many Rock challenge competitions. She went to train at Lincoln University and then went on to Falmouth College University to study a Degree in Dance and Choreography. Throughout university she performed in several Master students work. She has done workshops with well-established Contemporary dance companies such as Shobana Jayasingh and taken dance classes with Hagit Yakira. Her dance styles include Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop and Commercial dance. In 2013 she appeared in Noah and the Whale’s music video ‘There Will Come a Time’. Since working for LVB Dance, Siobhan has performed as a Principal Dancer in their theatre productions and been hired to dance on main stages at large scale festivals and events such as Bestival, Isle of Wight Festival, Rythmtree and V-Dub Island dancing alongside Annie Mac, Mark Ronson, Rob Da Bank, MistaJam, Hospitality Records, Skrillex and many more .
Charlotte Cosgrove Ballet/Contemporary Dance Teacher
Charlotte is the Ballet Teacher and the Contemporary Dance Co-Choreographer for LVB Dance.
Charlotte has trained in dance since she was 5 years old beginning in Ballet, Tap and Modern. She then went on to study Jazz, Freestyle, Contemporary and Hip Hop, performing in many productions including Cabarets, Festivals (Bestival and Isle of Wight Festival to name a few) and West-End stages. Charlotte's passion then lead her to gaining a place on one of the Country's most prestigious professional dance training courses at Roehampton University where she gained BA(hons) in Dance Studies. University also lead her into the world of Dance Movement Psychotherapy where she researched therapeutic benefits of dance as her dissertation thesis.
Nessy Warry Company Dancer and Dance Teacher
Nessy is a student at the Institute of Arts Barcelona where she trains in various styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial, Hip Hop and Tap. Nessy has been lucky enough to perform all over the world from Las Vegas to India and loves to combine travel with her passion for performing. Her hobbies include acting, contortion and aerial silks. Returning to the island for the summer, Nessy has a host of teaching and choreographic work ahead.. and she cant wait to get stuck in!
